Home of the "ORANGE BEAST"
GERMANIA HOSE COMPANY is located in DURYEA, PENNSYLVANIA along with our sister company, EXCELSIOR #2. We are an all volunteer fire department that specializes in engine company operations. We respond to more than 200 calls per year that range from structure to grass fires. We also run Mutual Aid assists to our neighboring towns.
In addition to our fire fighting we also have a SCUBA SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM. Our team consists of 8 certified divers and the latest state of the art search and rescue equipment.
GERMANIA HOSE COMPANY was incorporated in 1903. As we approach our 100 year anniversary, Germania Hose Company continues to provide our community with the highest quality service and protection. We are very proud of our trained and loyal members and will continue to serve our community for another 100 years.

This New addition to our Fleet servers as our main Scuba Support Vehicle and carries all SCUBA equipment.Equipped with State or the art air system, 10, 6,000lb. air tanks so we could fill Any air pack/Scuba bottle out there to Keep our guys going untill the job is done.
-1997 CHEVY UTILTY TRUCK
This truck is our second SCUBA support truck. It is equipped with a onboard generator and is used to tow our rescue boat.
